The story behind the artwork
SBK “Golden Snake Mirror” — a unique, handcrafted piece designed with care and precision. The mirror is sanded and painted with two layers of paint for a flawless finish, while the serpent winding through the frame is hand-sculpted in ceramic, its scales carefully textured by hand.
Its eyes are set with iridescent crystals, giving it a brilliant, enigmatic gaze. The serpent is painted with two layers of high-quality golden paint and coated in epoxy resin with gold sparkles for shine, durability and strength. The frame combines ochre and gold-toned stones encapsulated in resin with shimmering microcrystals and gold leaf.
The back is upholstered in red felt with a hanging opening built in. Comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.
